Two medieval bridges over the Wey define the village: Tilford West Bridge, built by monks from Waverley Abbey, and the Packhorse Bridge, both Grade I listed scheduled monuments. The green between them carries the cricket and the ancient Tilford Oak, reckoned at over 800 years old, with the Barley Mow facing it.
